Now that Thanksgiving is over, and December is here, it’s easy to let our thoughts wander. We begin to focus on the end of the year and the upcoming beginning to a new one. While that’s important, and it is a great exercise, to look back at your year (just like we look back at our month) and answer the three big questions, remember – we are starting another month; 2015 is not over yet. With a little under 10% of the year left, there’s still plenty of time to accomplish your goals.
It is an exciting time, no doubt, with Christmas lights and Christmas music in full force. Remember the real reason for the season, though, and think about this business and the gift that it is. Who can you share it with? Just as the birth of a baby in Bethlehem about 2000 years ago was part of God’s mission to save humanity, how might we help individuals and families with our mission, especially at this time of year?
If you think about it, that baby born in Bethlehem lived to be 33 years old. His “public” mission of ministry began when he was 30 years old. Those three years were a little less than 10% of his life. But he sure did do a lot with that 10%.
